When it comes to weight issue, it is more than just watching the calorie and putting on jogging shoe to run about.

While both both balanced diet and exercises are two important keys to achieve healthier weight, one needs to explore further if the number at the weighting scale has been yo-yo like.

Have you ever notice there are people who eat whole-heartedly and still stay the same figure?

How about those who count the number of carrots (or grapes or whatever that they think consists of calories) into their mouth and still remain round at the edges? Just like one of our participants mentioned, will still gain weight just breathing thin air.

Well, both are two extreme cases that show that beyond watching calories and exercising, there are more to this. And it all starts from the “Heart”. Thus the program named “Healthy Heart-Healthy Weight” and not “Healthy Weight-Healthy Heart”.

And the “Heart” mentioned here is not about the organ that is pumping the blood through your whole body but the “Heart” in TCM concept which involves the emotion, the spirit and the mind.

Since 2009, when I discovered the secret to achieve sustainable ideal weight, I have never really worry about my weight anymore. It has been consistent and I am not worry at all during the festive season when eating seems like a whole day round event, especially the Chinese New Year.

In this three sessions training, we seek to empower participants with the real stuff beyond counting calories and pouncing the jogging track. In fact, if you weight has tipped the scale, the last thing we want you to do is to start jogging.
