In our latest LOHAS DIGEST 37, one of the simple health tips that we suggest to our participants is to explore food that belongs to the five elements color for a during the festive season celebration.

Here are some suggestions for those who really need some ideas.  These hopefully help you to kick start the momentum and be creative

1) Red

Apple, strawberry, bell pepper, chili, tomato, red bean, hawthorn, rose tea, soothing tea.

 

2) Green

Lettuce, Spinach, Celery, Leafy Vegetables, Green Apple, Grapes, Guava, green bean.

 

3) Yellow

Banana, Pumpkin, Oranges, Lemon, Millet, Carrot, Potato, Tapioca, Soy, Sweet Corn

 

4) White

Onion, garlic, pear, white sesame, cauliflower, yogurt, milk, fishes

 

5) Black

Grapes, Berries, Olive, sea weed,yum, black bean,black sesame, mushroom.

 

You can mix and match to have a wide variety of combination for different dishes ranging from salad, juices, cold dish, soup or add some variety to your usual dish.
